Inside the Louvre


Inside the Louvre, here is a picture of the Grand Salon (Great Lounge) in the Napoleon III appartements. It shows the typical taste for luxury of this period.

  7. Very nice, It sort of reminds me of the Musée Jacquemart-André on Blvd Haussmann. No photography allowed in there.

  9. I didn't know that the Louvre had recreations of entire rooms — I always thought it was all paintings and sculptures. This is magnificent!
