Péché mignon

One thing I did not tell about my little trip on the Champs Elysees for the Armistice day is that I could not help but stop at Ladurée and have some of these incredible macarons ... and by the way I wish you all good luck for this Friday 13th !

  1. Happy Friday the 13th to you too !

I have never tried macarons, and they look so delicious.

I wonder what they are made of.

  4. As many times as I've been to Paris, I never indulged in one of these treats. Shame on me! Oh well, something to look forward to the next time.

  9. The salted caramel ones are the best, but I have to admit I prefer palmiers to macarons. I've yet to find a good one in the States, which is probably good, because I find them irresistible!

I was born on Friday the 13th -- I htink of it as my my lucky day!
