C'est formidable! I remember sitting along the edge of those water fountains last July after an international Rotary meeting in Birmingham! I'm saying goodbye to a French friend on my blog today who is moving back to Paris! Viens voir!
I know the kind of light you mean. It happens when the sky is wet and overcast, but a bit of sun shines through to create an eerie aura over the buildings.
Buongiorno Laurent, I love this atmosphere!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful image!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost summer and it was raining all night long here!

ReplyDeleteYeah, beautiful Paris..!!
ReplyDeleteBlue skies are nice but dark gray skies are dramatic. I don't think it would matter what kind of skies you had. Paris is lovely no matter what.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they should re-name Paris "The City of Fountains".

ReplyDeleteGreat photo. I love the way you have captured the fountain -- so white-white, almost like a wedding cake.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I love Paris when it drizzles, sizzles, ......:)
ReplyDeleteTerrific.
