I hope that you will say that this is a recent photo and that the weather is going to be cool but nice in two weeks? I have not been to Montsouris, but it is "on the list."
Laurent, I am used to that type of Paris weather in December, but I just hope that beginning Dec 2nd that it will be a mix of sun and rain and not all rain.
Interesting. Would the literal translation be 'artist in the grass'? I like to see artists out and about sketching or painting.
ReplyDeleteOh why can't boys my age be like this French artist! I love how natural he seems in that vibrant grass
ReplyDeleteI love that French term. Looks like he is braving the cold to do his work. Glad to see the sun shining in Paris Laurent.
ReplyDeleteBon weekend!

I wonder how the finished sketch looked?

ReplyDeleteLove the casual stance of "l'artiste en herbe"
@ SRQ
ReplyDeleteYes the literal translation would be nearly that or " grass artist
@ Genie
Yes the weather was good today and the sun kept shining all day but I'm afraid the forcast for next week is rather bad with cold temperatures.
What a wonderful capture. Looks like it was a good day for it.
ReplyDeleteThank you professor Laurent for another French expression.
ReplyDeleteWhat a contrast in poses: one relaxed, the other about to attack!
