As some of you may have heard on the news, Paris and the area has been under a snow storm yesterday when 11 cm of snow fell in one afternoon which did not happen since 1987. Sorry I can't share a nice view of Paris under the snow but only this view from my office window that I took while I was wondering how I was going to get back home (I work in the north suburb). I wisely decided to leave my car at the office and come back to Paris by train and I was happy with that choice when I saw on the news that lots of people had to sleep in their car last night stuck on the highways.
Be careful in that crazy weather! I still think Paris is beautiful covered in snow
ReplyDeleteI think "ville lumiere" with snow is magic.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
Mauro
yeah, I heard about that this morning on the radio...that's a lot of snow for Paris...I hope that you technically handle this situation and you can enjoying the white time here...have a nice day :)
ReplyDeleteMoi j'ai juste honte...
ReplyDeleteI did wish for the snow for my Paris visit but the snow storm of yesterday was a bit much. I am home safely but I hope that Holly was walking the streets for snow-shots yesterday... brrrrr!
ReplyDeleteGlad you took the train home, Laurent!
Wise decision to opt for the train. Nothing worse that being stuck in your car in a snowstorm! Hope the streets are cleared soon.
ReplyDeleteI love Paris in the winter.....not.
ReplyDeleteI would say I love Paris anytime, but might draw the line at that kind of weather! Brrrr Brrr Brrr Brrr Brrr!
ReplyDeleteI hate winter (snow, cold, darkness).
