Sur les toits de Paris ...


I always like to see cities from above and Paris especially. If you're like me I invite you to watch the beautiful "Paris vu du Ciel" video by photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand on Paris.TV  (click here). It's 15 minutes of fabulous views of Paris seen from above.

    Laurent, what a beautiful melange of buildings, rooftops and chimneys, all accented with a limited color palette of taupe, grays and clay. You have created a delightful mix... love this one!

    Paris vu du Ciel is one of my favorites too Laurent. I have it on my sidebar. Did you see it when they showed it during the Yann Arthus Bertrand exhibit at the Marmottan Monet in 09?

    I love this shot as the chimney pots always catch my eye! I have some very much like yours that I caught from the top of the Pompidou.

    I love this shot. The last time I visited Paris I stayed in a flat on Saint Germain and from the tiny balcony, I took several photos of the the wonderful rooftops. It's a very distinctive look.
