That reminds me that all 4 granddaughters wanted pink ones. I couldn't bring myself to buy them from the obnoxious vendors at la tour. They should be banned by the city of Paris! I do admit to having a rather nice collection of them myself! V
I bought a handful from a cheerful, chatty, flirtatious street vendor outside Galeries Lafayette on my last trip. He was very kind and threw in an extra as a freebie. Who says Parisians are cold? Not me!
Are you sure that this street vendor is not a Brazilian guy?! We have this plague all over the streets, harassing the tourists! At least, the apparatus is the same: a small blanket with ropes!LOL! marieloupe
I bought a couple Tour Eiffels in June - all "good tourists" need at least one!
ReplyDeleteI thought about it but I think they were made in China. I may look again in October for one to bring home that is actually from France.

I'll admit to having many of these in a variety of sizes. My favorite being the bejeweled version which is reminiscent of the twinkling ET lights.
