Full name

Paris' subway is known as "Métro" but its real full name is Metropolitain. We can still see it on some stations like here in the 18th arrondissement.

  1. When I was in Paris we took the metro. I remember how confusing it was for us to catch the right train going the right direction, and how we had to hurry through the turnstyle to get on

    You know.....Americans lost in Paris!! (O: (O:

  2. «Louis» is happy that there has been a movement to preserve and restore the original Guimard designs for le Métro.

  6. I love the parisian 'metropolitain' entrances, here in Lisbon we've got one that was offered by the 'mairie de Paris' it's in Picoas.
