Saint Germain des Près Church

Known as the oldest church in Paris (competing for the record with Saint Julien le Pauvre), this church is the heart of the Saint Germain des Près quarter.

The garden down the side is lovely too.

Is it true that the coat of Blaise Pascal with his Night of Fire letter, that he kept hidden inside the lining, is kept at this church?

When I was last in Paris, I went there and asked, but I am afraid that my broken French didn't do justice to the question I was trying to ask.

Merci,
when I posted that church my research said it was indeed the oldest. I had several say it was "one of the oldest" so I changed it. Hey, why quibble over a few hundred years in Paris , right??HA
