Palais Brongniart

The Palais Brongniart was built in 1807 and was the Paris Stock Exchange building untill 1987. It is now a conference center and today there was a special happening as you can see with the red carpet. And yes Virginia it is still raining in Paris these days !

The red carpet must be a particular French custom for special events? I encountered on at the Pantheon when I was there a couple of years ago.

Ohhhhhhhh I'm so sorry. Thankfully we escaped the rain while we were there. Now Laurent, I must know if this is Bourse de Paris which was close to our flat? It doesn't look exactly as I remember. Help me , s'il vous plait.

Where did the Bourse moved to?

Virginia,
The building is located in the 2nd arrondissement on the Rue de Réaumur.

Nadege,
They moved the Bourse to a normal building nearby when everything was put on computers
