Individual houses in la Mouzaia quarter

You do not find a many individual houses in Paris as the city is rather small and so mostly built with buildings. "La Mouzaia" is an area located near the Parc des Buttes Chaumont in the 19th arrondissement and it holds a few streets with only stone houses like these. There were built at the end of the 19th century for workers. You now have to be anything but a simple worker to own one of them ! It's a very nice walk by the way that you must add when visiting the Park.

Lovely photo of something I never expected to see in Paris.

I love the wroughtiron in the front, shaped in hearts! Very pretty. Houses made of stone are difficult to imagine, but these are quite nice. Thanks.

The feel of a small town right in Paris. I love the stone columns supporting the iron fences.

A lovely find. There are a few individual houses with gardens in Montmartre too. Always a pleasant surprise.

I'll be there for a few days in about 3 weeks and would love to check out this quartier (one of the few that may still be +/- affordable). Ces maisons sont dans quelle rue, Laurent?
