Paris, New York
Statue of Liberty in Paris is near the Grenelle Bridge on the Île des Cygnes , an island in the river Seine. Dedicated in 1889, it looks towards the Atlantic Ocean and hence towards its "larger sister" in New York Harbor, which had been erected three years earlier.

Seine river in winter
The "Passerelle des Arts", also called "Pont des Arts" (Arts Bridge) is one of my favourite spot in Paris. The view from this brige is absolutely gorgeous, I post a picture from the bridge next time. This picture is taken from another bridge accross the Seine River and in the background you can see the Louvre Museum.

Inside the Guimet Museum
The Guimet Museum is dedicated to Asian Arts. This little boy is one of my best friend's son and he was very impressed by the Indian godess.

Tuileries again
Still in the "Tuileries garden" where you can find lots of these chairs to enjoy the place (great in spring when the first sunny hot days come).
In the background you can see the "Louxor Obelisque" of the "Concorde square" and the "Arc of Triomphe" far behind. The "Champs Elysées" avenue is located between these two monuments.

Green
This wall in part of the "Quai Branly museum" near the Eiffel Tower. The building was design by Jean Nouvel a great French architect. I love this building, especially at night and I also love the museum that features indigenous art, cultures and civilizations from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas.

Rue Saint Blaise
This street looks like a street from a small town but it's in Paris, more precisely in the 20th arrondissement where I live, east of the city. The little church at the end of the street still has its cemetery around it which is I think the only one left like this in Paris.

Strange box in the "Hotel de Rohan"
This place is the Hotel de Rohan (built 1705) and is dedicated to the National Archives. Someone must have forgotten something ...
The name "hotel" is there considered as "mansion".

Fun wall
This wall is located near the "Centre Georges Pompidou" museum also called by Parisian "Beaubourg".
I always thought it gives happiness when passing by.

A Café near Montmatre
Inside a Café in the 18th "arrondissement" rue des Abbesses. Even in 2009, Paris sera toujours Paris.

She was blue
During the last 3 months of 2008, she was dressed in blue to celebrate the French Presidency of the E.U.
I thought these photos would be nice as the first ones for this new blog.
