Magnificent! Both the roof itself and your photo of it. Just beautiful.
I used to work on Rue de la Paix, and walked by this beautiful building every morning...and evening.
Today was my first visit to you site and your photos have brought back many memories. The last time I was in Paris was 2007 and I attended a ballet in the beautiful Palais Garnier.

Cette photo m'a fait penser au téléfim "L'âge heureux" créée par Odette Joyeux et diffusée à partir de 1966, on y voit notemment une échappée de petits rats sur le toit de l'Opéra.
