The Sacré Coeur basilica is on the top of the "Butte Montmartre", the highest point of the city. All around the basilica you find little old streets. Some are so famous that they are only filled with tourists, some a much quieter and I love wandering in this area

Nice side shot of the basilica. You are right and, as a tourist, I am happy to avoid too many tourists! The "Passe-muraille" and the "Cimetière Saint-Vincent" are nice spot there.
I loved walking that area when I was in Paris. A new discovery around every corner.
I took some pictures of the Sacré Coeur, but none from that angle. Nice shot.
If I keep visiting your site, I'm just going to have to make a visit to Paris this year. I really enjoy your photos; they make me long to return to Paris for a visit.
