Inside the Petit Palais

The Petit Palais is a free city Museum located near the champs Elysées with a nice little garden inside.

AHA! I have a shot looking out between the columns and couldn't figure out what the domed building was in the center. I had to call Peter in on that one. Maybe I'll run it soon. You and I are back on the same track Laurent! :)

I loved the Petit Palais. Went to a fascinating photography exhibit there last November. I don't think a lot of tourists visit it but it's just lovely. I like the composition of your photo a lot. It was raining the day we were there (quelle surprise) so I didn't venture out.

I love the Petit Palais. My husband and I enjoyed a delightful lunch there...so nice to be able to sit outside and view the garden. This photo certainly brings back that memory. We were there for the Sargent exhibit in 2007.

I like how the simple columns contrast with the ornate reliefs. Beautiful!
