First I would like to thank you for you comments and wishes on yesterday's post. Getting comments from people of so many different parts of the world really made my day !
Now that the holiday season is ending and that back to work is scheduled for next monday, let's enjoy more Paris lights before it's over. Here is the Avenue Montaigne in the 8th arrondissement starting on the Champs Elysées where you find luxury stores mostly Haute Couture. The red trees decoration are very nice.

The City of Light certainly knows how to do lights! (Today's photo as well as yesterday's.)
Your photo is great. I love how the moon echos that repetition of globe lights. And we knew that La Tour Eiffel couldn't be far away.
Hi Laurent, thank you for calling into my blog :-) yes it is really great when people from lots of different parts of the world leave comments, brightens the day for sure.
I am going to add your blog to my French blog roll...my friends in Paris will love it too .
It is really beautiful, I love the glimpse of the tower.
Lovely lights in cone-shaped drapes over the trees - and I just spotted the Eiffel Tower peeking over the buildings! Nice photo.

I loved your Eiffel Tower post, and the lights today. I think your photos have a special appeal (aside from being Paris!), and I'll look forward to seeing many more in 2010.
Well I'm pouting just a teensy bit. I suppose all the glitz and glamour and lights will be all packed away for another year by the time my toes touch Parisian soil next Saturday morning, oui? Well I'll just suck it up and enjoy the Paris I know and love with or without the fancy lights! See? I'm a big girl! :)
I don't think I ever really wanted to see Paris so much until I started seeing your pictures. It looks absolutely enchanting!
Yes, too bad the vacation and the lights have to end, but we have our photos to remind us of the beauty and good times. Yours are beautiful.
Shalom from Jerusalem.
