Paris Nature Capitale

Due to the special event " Paris Nature Capitale " that took place on the Champs Elysees during the past 2 days I am breaking the CDP rule and I am posting more than 1 picture to let you enjoy what it was like.
The avenue was really green starting near the Arc of Triopmh with trees of all different parts of France and ending near the Champs Elysees roundabout with plants you find in fields and also with animals.
More about the event on : http://www.naturecapitale.com/

These are great shots, Laurent. Looks like quite a transformation of the Champs Elysees to the Champs Verts.

I think it is amazing.. just wish I had been there to experience it. It must of felt very strange but good at the same time.

Too bad this is only a 2-day event. It looks like a tremendous amount of work went into this event. Thanks for the photos!

Paris knows how to put on a show! Sorry I'll miss it. To answer your question, I'll be there 9 days! :)

You should always break the rules every now and then. Some nice photos here. I read about this in the paper the other day.

I read in a blog, from someone who went to see this, that the grass that was promised was not put in. Also, in spite of the pictures of people picnicking as advertised, there were guards to keep people off the areas that were available. Your photos seem to belie that blog. Great shots of the festivities.
