Rue de Rivoli


The Street called rue de Rivoli is one of Paris shopping street and is located in the center of the city. In the far background you can see the buildings of "La Defense" the business area in the west suburb of Paris. Yesterday was a nice hot day, maybe one our our last ...

I have a distinct memory of walking along this street in search of a pharmacy so I could get something to sooth a blister on my foot. In fact, it might have been that pharmacy I see on the far right of this photo.

Sharon, I've learned to wear several patches of moleskin on my feet when in Paris! It's a foot-saver, that's for sure.

I walked this street many many times. Once at midnight with my friend Mary in search of a taxi when the Metro stopped for the night right there! Don't want to do that again.
