Middle age building

Paris has got very few Middle Age houses left. This is one of them. It's originnaly from the 15th century and is still occupied by private owners. There is even one apartment for sale as you can see on the sign put on the 3rd floor window (4th floor for our American friend as you count the "Rez de chaussée (ground floor) for first floor which we do not). Beautiful blue sky on Paris yesterday bu snow is to be back this week.

Wow, that's some old building :-) Bet the plumbing is questionable :-))

The whole area at one time must have been covered with these grand half timbered homes. Imagine the things that have been witnessed through these windows!

That's a beautiful old building! I'm wondering, is this apartment more expensive than a usual apartment at the same area?

I always enjoy it when I recognize the location of your photos. I think I captured this building from the top of an open air tour bus!
