The Eglise Saint Gervais in the Marais, seen from the back of the building at sunset. Probably one of my favorite views of Paris. The street from with this picture is taken is a pedestrian old street leading slowly to the river. Most romantic !

It does sound romantic, especially if the architecture on that street are like this church's! Such an interesting roof line!
Such a warm photo with the sun low in the sky. Parisien roofers must be interesting to observe. I shall 'walk' all around this and down to the river on Google streetview. (I found the building on Place de la Nation the other day, too.)
I love the capture of the sunlight on the stone. Ahhhh Paris.....I'm mentally transporting myself there.
Jill, what a great idea to use streetview to find these locations. You can also do streetviews with the orange.fr website. I've taken many virtual trips myself -- esp. before I found all these wonderful photoblogs-
It is the epitomy of romance. Beautiful.
What type of architecture is this Church?
This is such a lovely church, both inside and out.
I love that street. The best view in Paris!
