Interesting. Would the literal translation be 'artist in the grass'? I like to see artists out and about sketching or painting.

Oh why can't boys my age be like this French artist! I love how natural he seems in that vibrant grass

I love that French term. Looks like he is braving the cold to do his work. Glad to see the sun shining in Paris Laurent.
Bon weekend!

I wonder how the finished sketch looked?

I hope that you will say that this is a recent photo and that the weather is going to be cool but nice in two weeks? I have not been to Montsouris, but it is "on the list."

Love the casual stance of "l'artiste en herbe"

@ SRQ
Yes the literal translation would be nearly that or " grass artist

@ Genie
Yes the weather was good today and the sun kept shining all day but I'm afraid the forcast for next week is rather bad with cold temperatures.

What a wonderful capture. Looks like it was a good day for it.

Thank you professor Laurent for another French expression.

What a contrast in poses: one relaxed, the other about to attack!

Laurent, I am used to that type of Paris weather in December, but I just hope that beginning Dec 2nd that it will be a mix of sun and rain and not all rain.
