Green and gold on the Opera roof

This picture would have looked much better with a blue skies but temperatures are rising and rain is back on Paris roofs.

I actually think the gold and green stand out better among the shades of gray. But blue skies sounds like a good idea in any case!

That golden thing would look good on any sky, no matter what color, it (the sky), would have.

That is so shiny, that i guess it is easy to spot even up in the air sitting in a plane. Interesting shot and great details.

Laurent, I agree with Anne... the colors really pop against that gray sky. On the other hand, I recall some amazing photos of yours from the roof of Printemps with clear blue skies. Alas, that was a different season!

Sky? The greens and gold so captured my eye that I had to scroll back to notice the color of the sky...

I could sit up on the rooftops of Paris and stare at this image all day (though I wouldn't be allowed). It is just so stunning, and reminds me of the movie Phantom of the Opera.

I was there just yesterday! It's our neighborhood this week!
