During the 2 weeks of the Roland Garros Tennis tournament, an event is ongoing in front of the City Hall where you can watch live matches on a giant screen and also see some players on a small tennis ground installed there. You can see it on my last year post:  " Want to play" .

Wow I think that is an amazing idea :-) A great looking screen too!

I think the audience is mostly "locals" and not so many "tourist."
Our French friend, Isabelle, is moving back to Paris next Wednesday - we'll miss her!

Clever use of the plaza in front of l'hôtel de Ville.

Almost like being there! Amazingly clear for a big outdoor screen I think! I love how the Hôtel de Ville always has such special things going on. Last summer the outdoor garden plots, last winter the carrousel and ice rink, now this!
