The photographer in the Parc de Bercy

It did not snow for a week but since temperature are very low, the snow stays on in the gardens and parks like here in the Parc de Bercy where I shot this photographer shooting the Rachid Kimoune "Childrens of the world Statues" 

Le Musée des Arts Forains public opening

Like they did last year, the "The museum of Fairground Arts" reopened its door to individual public this Christmas season. Just a magical atmosphere. I would really recomend the visit if your're in Paris until January 2nd.

Bercy Village

More Christmas lights as we are approaching the date ... Here is the shopping center called "Bercy Village" located at the edge of the Parc de Bercy. I very often go there as my favorite cinema theatre is at the end of this pedestrian shopping street.

A short time with blue sky

Yesterday we had what the weather people say to be our last sunny day for at least a week since they even forecast some snow for the weekend. So let's enjoy the nice Bercy Garden while it's still sunny.

Green Bercy

This place is a giant indoor entertainment and sport theater called the P.O.P.B (for Palais Omnisport de Paris Bercy). We also just call it "Bercy". It is where big concerts take place (up to 17 000 people can attend) and also sport events like the Paris tennis tournament. Located on the Seine bank in the 12th arrondissement it has been built with grass walls which gives it a spectacular an original look. They had to create special machine to mow the lawn.

A school to attend

This is the entrance of the "Bakery and Pastry school" located in Bercy, eastside of Paris. Anyone volunteers ? I do not know much about this school that I discovered yesterday on my way to the Musée des Arts Forains that was opened to public for the first time during this holidays and which I will soon post pictures of.

House of gardening

This is the House of Gardening located in the Parc de Bercy. You can find courses and exhibitions there in this lovely old house. More about this house on the Paris Website.

Pont de Bercy

The Pont de Bercy links the left bank to the right bank in south east of Paris. The big building in the background is the French Ministry of Economy and Finances.

In the Parc de Bercy

The Parc de Bercy is on the east side of Paris. Located between the POBP, a hudge indoor place where take place concert, sports and other events, and the Bercy Village at Cour Saint Emilion where old wine houses have been restored into a shopping street.
