Want to buy an Eiffel Tower ?
Streets vendors around the Eiffel tower are not allowed to sell their stuff so every time police is around they spread around waiting for the place to be "safe" again to come back like here on my picture. It looks like a game of cats and dogs.

Free massage
Last year I tested these free street massage on the Seine River bank (see old post) and I was happy to see that they still do it. They give a 15 minutes free back massage really relaxing and in a friendly atmosphere.

Nature in the city
It looks like country but you're in the center of Paris here. Actually the city decided years ago to stop using chemical products to destroy weeds. In some places like here they just let them grow naturally ....

The BHV, one of Paris big department store, organized a fashion show in the street ... not a usual fashion show as the model were ... dogs !

Lundi de Pâques
The next Monday after Easter is called "Lundi de Pâques" in French ("Easter Monday ... which I put yesterday by error and so now Virginia you've got the answer !). It is a holiday in France so most of the people just got a 3 days weekend here. As we still have that incredible summer weather, this is the view you will have along cafés in the city.

Back home
I am finally back home after a great break on a tropical island (see my travel blog). Paris is still as sunny and warm as it was when I left. It's that a welcoming city ! I 'm glad my blog friend Genie had that nice weather for her Parisian stay and too bad I miss her that time. As you can see the trees are splendid on this avenue in the 12th arrondissement.

Mogador theater
French are not very into musicals and so Paris does not offer many shows like in New York, London or Berlin but for the past years there seem to have been a new go for this kind of shows. Here you can see the Mogador theater in the 9th arrondissement which specialized in musicals. They showed Lion King for years and now the big hit is Mamma Mia. The theater itself is splendid and so is the neighborhood as you can see.

Moulin Rouge
The Moulin Rouge is a famous Paris cabaret which opened in 1889. It's still running shows where mostly French and foreigner tourists go. They have a nice website where you can get information on the place : click here
