The next Monday after Easter is called "Lundi de Pâques" in French ("Easter Monday ... which I put yesterday by error and so now Virginia you've got the answer !). It is a holiday in France so most of the people just got a 3 days weekend here. As we still have that incredible summer weather, this is the view you will have along cafés in the city.

Sure looks very Paris this. We are having the same weather in Stockholm.

Thanks for sharing, Laurent. I just stumbled across your blog and having been lucky enough to spend some time in Paris with my best friend in 2002, it's just wonderful to relive those moments. Paris is just beautiful.
Well here when the children get the Friday and/or Monday off it is called Spring vacation. So perhaps in France it's just a "holiday" for workers etc?

We will have beautiful weather on Friday while the British royal wedding is under a rain cloud!
