Place de la Concorde

After ths snow we have had great blue skies since yesterday. A nice opportunity to shot lots of picture like this one on the Place de la Concorde where the holiday wheel stands behind the Louxor obelisk. The horse still has got snow on his back !

Are you ready for "la Saint Sylvestre"?

Came across your blog today and enjoy your images of Paris.

I have never been overseas and I live in the Central United States in a place called Iowa (right in the middle of the USA).

I have a friend in Vancouver, Johanna, who loves Paris - so I sent her the URL for your blog.

Very nice! Take care.

I see it is about 2:00 Monday morning in Paris. It is 7:00 Sunday evening here.

What a beautiful photograph. Nothing like snow and blue skies.

What a gorgeous composition! Love the touch of snow on the horse's back. Our first snowstorm of the winter is a blizzard—started yesterday morning and still coming down!

Alexa took the words right out of my mouth... It's all about the composition which you always do so well, particularly when it involves the obelisk. The dusting of snow on the statue is a beautiful icing.

Enjoy your blue skies!

Neat pic. I like the composition of the elements. And the snow on the horse's back...
