It's been a long time since I posted a picture of the Lady so on this Sunday bridge theme day I decided to show you the Bir Hakeim bridge crossing the river between 15th and 16th arrondissements. One of my favorite because of the subway riding on top and because of the lights.

Laurent, I have not seen this bridge from your vantage point. I have been on that Métro line headed to Trocadero but obviously you cannot see the lovely Lady from the train!
Great photo. The French definitely know the beauty of repetition when it comes to lights/lamps. The backdrop of that beautiful blue sky is wonderful.

The Effel tower, some place I like to visit, my Daddy went when I was little, and gave us souvenirs of the Effel tower. Your bridge is like the bridesmaid to the Effel tower.

I was lucky enough to watch the fireworks of la Tour ,14 juillet a year ago. This lovely bridge was all lit up as well and made it even more beautiful for my photos that I took from a bridge or two away.
