Rue de Rivoli
The Street called rue de Rivoli is one of Paris shopping street and is located in the center of the city. In the far background you can see the buildings of "La Defense" the business area in the west suburb of Paris. Yesterday was a nice hot day, maybe one our our last ...

oh I hope not one of your last - hopefully shining in Oct
Salut, Laurent! Fun to catch up on your blog this evening! Where did you go in Africa?
Great shot Laurent.
What a great view! Interesting to see the newer buildings at the end of the shot.
Hi Leif Hagen !
In Africa I was in NdDjamena (Chad). Glad to be back ...
I have a distinct memory of walking along this street in search of a pharmacy so I could get something to sooth a blister on my foot. In fact, it might have been that pharmacy I see on the far right of this photo.
I hope you'll save some warm days for Octobre.
Your photos always have the most interesting details, Laurent. I get lost inside them.
Sharon, I've learned to wear several patches of moleskin on my feet when in Paris! It's a foot-saver, that's for sure.
I walked this street many many times. Once at midnight with my friend Mary in search of a taxi when the Metro stopped for the night right there! Don't want to do that again.
