Theme day : Your favourite part of town

It is difficult to choose a part of Paris that would be my "favourite". It all depends of what month, day of the week, hour of the day, mood ... Anyway if I have to pick up one it is the Ponts de Arts, a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Seine river between the Louvre museum and the "Institut de France". I love standing on this bridge offering incredible views everywhere you look.

I must agree although I would never be able to choose just one part of Paris as my love. This is a fine choice.

I had to come and see your selection, Laurent... Great choice but I would have extreme difficulty in chosing just one place... Mine would probably be one of the gardens

I don't think I could chose a specific area. There's so much beauty in Paris. Maybe Montemarte? Or one of the gardens like dear Genie said? Along the Seine is beautiful as you have pointed out.

Good choice, Laurent—as would be almost any one of Paris's beautiful bridges. Asked to choose my favorite part of Paris, I would be hard-pressed: les quais? Pere Lachaise? Palais Royale? Trop difficile de choisir!

I like the choice because it is something I wish to see if I make a second trip to Paris. I missed it first time but now that I know of it, maybe next time I will get to cross it.

Merci!

Yes it would be very difficult in Paris!!! You do choose a really interesting spot/bridge that I have never been on. When I visit Paris in a month I will be sure to check it out.
You have a great blog that has given me lots of ideas where i will go on my 3 days in Paris. Enjoy you month

So glad you chose this place; i used to go there a lot when i lived in Paris, mostly in the winter: just standing there and enjoying the view to any direction.

If I lived in Paris (how great that would be) I'd never be able to choose a favorite part. It's too beautiful in every corner.

I agree that choosing one favourite place is definitely NOT easy. :)

This bridge looks modern and nice to be seen over the Seine that has many reflections of great architectures. I'd like to visit and cross it. from Japan.
