Sunset on the Ecole Militaire building located in front of the Champs de Mars where the Eiffel tower is.
The statue is The Marechal Foch, a French soldier from world war I.

Very nice, Laurent...I'm putting up some photos from our 2007, 50th anniversary trip to Paris on the blog Paree (http://pareeandme.blogspot.com)...no big deal, but you might get a kick out of some of them...lots of "touristy" pics...

Thanks for visitng Tampa Florida Photo (and I hope you also stopped by Tampa Daily Photo.)
Seeing the cemetery at Normandy was an amazing experience. Your city and country are incredible. We stayed at the Hotel Regina when last there and enjoyed that neigborhood very much. Perfect location.

Your shot with the moon is wonderful. Thanks.

Beautiful photo Laurent, but isn't the statue of Marechal Joffre? The Foch statue stands in Place du Trocadéro.
