A southern look

This gorgeous mansion is located rue Payenne in the 3rd arrondissement part of the Marais quarter. It has a "south of France" look due to its yellow walls.

Must be magnificent on the inside.

What a lovely shade of soft yellow. Like B Squared, I'd like to see the inside.

Laurent,
We've got to quit meeting like this! HA I have featured those gorgeous doors and building on my Paris blog as well! In fact, I rephotographed them while I was in the Marais again in July. I'm right behind you with the Pompidou today. Maybe we could pool our resources and just share a Paris blog! :) Just kidding. You do a fabulous job and I so enjoy visiting every day.

Thank you for showing me some places that I don't know exist.
That is a beautiful "hotel particulier". Do you know who lives there? or was it taken over by a business...? I went to a private school above the Gare St Lazare; it use to be privately owned.

Simply gorgeous and quite elegant. The lantern, the plaque, everything. I love the doorways in Paris. LOVE.
