Street artist ?

If you've ever been in Paris you certainly noticed these "poles" on the pavements which prevent cars from parking. Their natural color is dark brown and suddenly here in my street we discovered that during the night they all were painted in bright and various colors. maybe a street artist ?

I've never seen these bright poles! They sure are better than boring grey ones.

I love the poles, they are so typical for Paris. But I definitely prefer the painted ones!

What a nice change from the one color. For some reason the white one doesn't seem to fit....perhaps just me....

Last year in May I visited Paris. It's a wonderful city, it surelly wasn't my last visit. Until that I will visit your blog :-)
Otherwise Budapest is also full of poles. But these colourful ones in Paris are nice and cheerful :-)

Oh my finger is itching to photograph this one, but you did a fine job Laurent!

Very interesting, Laurent. In December I found some that had been decorated, "enhanced" would be a better term... Very creative and I prefer these to the brown!

Nice idea! Could be followed elsewhere, in my opinion! (I added your blog to my list of "Paris blogs" that I recommend!)

Very festive! If someone just had to express himself, this is certainly better than marking the wall with self-indulgent graffiti (unless that's the pole-painter's signature up there!).

Very colourful bollards indeed!
Part of the gentrification programme in Paris, perhaps?

Hi Laurent - just started visiting your blog. I like what you do. And yes here's my vote for fun and cheerful graffiti to greet us first thing in the morning!

This is not only pleasing to the eye, but to the inner person as well.

Great picture. Painting the poles was a brilliant idea.

What a cheerful thing to wake up to; so much better than here in the northeastern US, where we're waking up to more snow!

Spontaneous street art -- just another thing to love about Paris.

J'aime Paris.
