My neighbourhood : rue des Vignoles

This week I decided to have my own theme week and show pictures of my neighbourhood.
I live in the south of the 20th arrondissement located on the eastside of Paris. It is not a very touristic part of the city except from the Père Lachaise cemetery which is 10 minutes walk from my appartment but it offers different and nice views of what Paris is made of.
Today I start with the little square on the Rue des Vignoles where you can find a nice an typical parisian "café restaurant" called " Le 20ème art". It is especially nice on warm days when you can have a drink under the shadows of the trees.

I shall follow your blog closely as I can never get enough of Paris, and it will be nice to see some areas where we have yet to visit!

Thank you for visiting Ocala DP!

This is a very good idea, this is a Part of Paris I practically don't know.
This lovely square will be surely added to our next itinerary in Paris.

It will be very nice to see this part of Paris. So far It looks great. I was wondering if the lady on the right was walking a dog or cracking a whip. :-)

I miss Paris.

Lovely square and thank you for the cafe recommendation. I always stay up(over?)in that part of Paris when I am there, so it's my favourite area as well.

Laurent, you really do have a great photo-blog. Thanks for sharing so many different aspects of Paris with all of us francophiles.

Laurent, I was over checking out another photo-blog that I routinely follow (Clueless in Boston -- because I lived there for 3 years!) and saw a comment from "Laurent". I clicked on the little box and VOILA there was a photo of you!

It's nice to be able to associate a face with your wonderful photos!
