Happy birthday too !

The Eiffel Tower is not the only one to celebrate a big birthday this year. So is the Louvre pyramid celebrating its 20th birthday this week.
Desined by the architect PE, the pyramid was completed in 1989 and triggered considerable controversy at that time. It has now become a landmark for the city.

I still can't decide whether I like it or not. After 20 years, I guess that says a lot.

Hi Laurent! Another great photo. The architect I. M. Pei certainly created a "stir" when he designed this - an architectural design that people are still talking about. I wonder what people will be saying 100 years from now.

I must say that I really like the photo for your banner looking through the Pyramide at the Louvre.

Joyeuses Pâques!

Salut Laurent! Comment ca marche? I love this pyramid/Louvre picture. I remember my high school French teacher, Madame Assardo, telling us about the controversy of the pyramid. I'm hoping to see it again in late June - take a few snaps! Bonjour d'EAGAN daily photo in Minnesota, USA
