Hotel de Ville

This view is a part of Paris Town House roof. The building is located on the Place de Grève in the 4th arrondissement and that's where the mayor office is. It's a very nice building which was built in 1628. You can have a virtual tour of the Hotel de Ville on its website

Is that the building that has an ice-skating rink in front of it in the winter?

Merci for this beautiful photo. The architecture of Paris is one of the reasons I love the city so much. Even without going "into" a single museum, there is a feast for the eyes!

PS- I've always wanted to go inside the Hotel de Ville; can't wait to do the virtual tour!

This building has an ice skating rink and a carousel in front. I've always wanted to see inside. Thanks for the post.

I loved the statues, flags etc. Sort of an over the top French Cinderella's castle!

What a fantastic-looking building!

Now I feel like reading some old Addams family cartoons… :)
