Le Petit Nicolas

This picture is taken on the rue de Rivoli entrance of the City Hall where an exhibition of "The Little Nicholas" is taking place.
The "Little Nicholas" is a comic book created by Sempé and Goscinny (Astérix) in the late 50's and still very popular. Not only because our Président's first name is Nicolas and is ...  little !

I know very well Astérix (faithful reader since young age) but this is my first of 'Le Petit Nicolas'.
Great perspective view, the posters of the exihibition are very nice.

It's great how something from the 50's can still be so popular today - even if it is with the "help" of your President :)

Love the "French" satire.

I love Le Petit Nicolas. I purchased one of the books on my last trip to Paris to help me with my French.

The repetition of the signs with the angle of your photo gives the impression of lots of movement -- just what we would expect with Nicolas et ses copains!
