Père Lachaise

Père Lachaise Cemetery is the largest cemetery in Paris, France (48 ha, 118.6 acres). Located in the 20th arrondissement where I live, it is reputed to be the world's most-visited cemetery, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually to the graves of those who have enhanced French life over the past 200 years. A lot of famous people are there as Balzac, Molière, Edith Piaf, Jim Morisson ...
The cemetery was established by Napoleon I in 1804. You can have a virtual tour of the cemetery on this website : Pere-Lachaise.com

Thanks for the link. The size of this cemetery is truly overwhelming!

I have yet to see the Montparnasse cemetery, so a photo would be welcome.

I like the way you have captured the long vista of this walk.
