Perhaps they have just bought a new chair??? Or someone took the sofa.....? I don`t know if they look French. But I am interested to find out what a typical French person look like. I have a feeling that they dress in black and look very elegant..... I might be wrong:)
This looks like a stage set from a play (why there would be a chair on the street will be left up to the playwright!)...not a real-life situation on the streets of Paris!
Great random capture, Laurent. I wonder if he offered his seat to the older woman, who by the way looks well put together. I'm not so sure about the younger woman. Do Parisian women don 6 inch fringe on their hand bags these days?
I love the girl's ensemble. If anyone knows where I can find those boots, let me know!
And now for the chair. I'm not surprised. I saw everything from furniture to sinks and toilets on the curb all over Paris. Perhaps this was an easier way to pass the time till the bus arrived! V
Paris is my city and since taking pictures and sharing them is something I like, here are daily pictures of the city of lights which I hope you will enjoy.
Do not hesitate to comment and/or ask questions about the pictures and life in Paris. I'll be happy to answer.

The chair seems to be in good condition, maybe he was trying to get it home on the bus.

Not a smile to be had. What can I say.

Three generations of women, none of whom seem to acknowledge the presence of a guy sitting in a chair at a bus stop. Now, that's what seems Parisian.
Excellent, le fauteuil au bord du passage pour piétons! On va demander à JC Decaux d'en mettre un peu partout.
OMG.. That's too classic.. The guy looks like he's in his own living room.. So comfy!
