Theme day : edges

On the edges of Paris you can find many fabulous places to visit like here the Versailles castle only 15 kilometers away from Paris. I thought this sunset on the Castle would make a nice theme day picture and furthermore I was born in Versailles which is not only a Castle but also a suburban city.

A marvelous photo of the Versailles palace! We have good French friends who live in Viroflay which I think is on the EDGE of Versailles!

This is excellent ( say that with a French accent svp). You are so clever. I'm not. Maybe next month.

Very nice. The statuary is also on the edge.

On the edge of Paris... you are indeed clever, my friend, and a great photographer! This one with its low angle of the sun golden and peach colors is perfect!

The stone fairly glows. You were there at the right moment.

Great theme post. I always like this fountain, which French river is represented in this bronze beauty, something bountiful so maybe the Loire? I will be visiting Versailles in the next month so this picture whets my appetite for the Ancien Regime!!!
