It looks like country but you're in the center of Paris here. Actually the city decided years ago to stop using chemical products to destroy weeds. In some places like here they just let them grow naturally ....

Good to know! I would wonder if I saw overgrown grass like that.
One fabulous benefit of the conscious decision to avoid chemical products is.... "honey" The bees of Paris are enjoying the abundance of chemical-free pollen and the honey produced in the city of Paris is divine! I even found some of the bees on my April visit.
